Charlotte Wedding Photography At Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo

Now that we are wrapping up 2025, I will have a little more time to post more weddings I have photographed this year.

Here is Carey & Jonathan’s wedding that was shot at Nuvole Rooftop Bar TwentyTwo. Located in uptown Charlotte, NC. It’s sits at the top of a large skyscraper right in the heart of Charlotte. It may not be the biggest wedding venue in Charlotte, but it makes up for it with its skyscraper views of Charlotte and great staff.

This was a full wedding day. Firstly, I did the getting ready images, where I’m trying to go unnoticed. Capturing the laughs, the cries and all the other details couples never get to see. We knocked out the formal group shots @ The Green(nearby park) in Charlotte, where I also spent a little time photographing the bride and groom. Most photographers use this time to pose and control what the bride and groom does. My approach is a little different, I give them space and let them enjoy a quiet moment together on the most important day of their life. This is where I’m looking for those split second moments of connection. Carey & Jonathan made my job easy with their laid back attitudes and trust in me as their wedding photographer.

The rest of the day I’m a fly on the wall. I’m a big believer in quality over quantity. I deliver less photos than most wedding photographers. I’d much rather be very intentional with the images I make. I always ask myself “ why am I taking this photo?” Is it telling the story? I’m constantly scanning the room and always moving locations.
