I’m based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and photograph weddings, families, and events throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

I regularly work in Charlotte, NC, including Uptown, South End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, Ballantyne, Matthews, Huntersville, and Concord. I also photograph sessions and events throughout North Carolina and am available for travel. I shoot weddings and elopements across the US.

Documentary photography is an observational approach that allows moments to unfold naturally. Rather than directing or posing people, I focus on capturing real life as it happens, creating photographs that feel authentic and timeless.

Documentary photographers typically focus on light, timing, composition and mood, rather than the pose.

I keep direction to a minimum. I may offer light guidance when needed, but my goal is always to allow moments to happen organically so the photographs reflect who you truly are.

I also set aside time to do any formal group shots at the same time. That way I can focus on what I do best for the rest of the wedding/event.

For weddings, I recommend reaching out 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular dates in Charlotte. For family sessions and events, availability can vary, so it’s best to inquire as early as possible.

You’ll receive your images through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photographs. All images are professionally edited and delivered in high resolution.

Yes. While all galleries include personal printing rights, I’m happy to help guide clients toward high-quality print options so their photographs can live beyond a screen. You will also have a print shop attached to your gallery if you’d like to order prints from there.
