Families rarely all get together. Jamie wanted to have a fun, laid back family session. We let the kids have fun, but still got meaningful photographs of the family together. As a documentary family photographer, I photograph families completely candid 95% of the time. That doesn’t mean there’s never a time for group photos. I just approach it a little different by letting the kids be themselves. No “say cheese!”, I treat them the same as the adults. Here’s some of my favorite images from the session.
