My approach to wedding photography is simple: give you the space to be present, while making sure the moments you’ll want to remember are preserved.
I'm a Charlotte documentary wedding photographer focused on real moments, genuine relationships, and photographs that feel like your wedding—not a collection of staged images created for the camera.

Your wedding day will move quickly.
There will be moments you've planned for months, and moments you never saw coming. A quiet conversation with your parents. Your friends laughing during cocktail hour. The look on your partner's face as you walk down the aisle. A grandparent dancing at the reception.
Those are the moments I'm looking for.
I'll photograph the big moments, but I'll also pay attention to everything happening around them—the people, reactions, relationships, and little pieces of the day that might otherwise be forgotten.
My goal isn't to control your wedding.
It's to document it.
A documentary approach, with direction when you need it.
Documentary doesn't mean you mean you won’t get couples photos or family formal group shots.
There are photographs you'll want that require some direction, and I'll help you get them.
I'll organize family portraits quickly, guide you through portraits together, help you find good light, and offer direction whenever it's useful.
But I don't believe the entire day should feel like a photo session. I’ll put you in positions to get natural looking portraits without the stiff posing.
Once the important portraits are taken, I want you back with your people.
You shouldn't spend your wedding day wondering what your photographer wants you to do next.

Every wedding is different, so your coverage should be flexible enough to fit your day.
4 Hours
For intimate weddings, elopements, or couples who want to focus on the most important parts of the day.
6 Hours
A balanced option for couples who want meaningful coverage of their ceremony, portraits, and reception without photographing every minute of the day.
8 Hours
For a more complete story of the wedding—from getting ready through the reception and everything in between.
10 Hours
For couples who want their entire day documented, from the anticipation of getting ready to the final moments of the celebration.

I don't want your gallery to show you only what happened.
I want it to remind you how it felt.
Your photographs should bring back the people who were there, the conversations you had, the way your family looked at you, the energy of the dance floor, and all the small moments you didn't have time to notice.
That's why I photograph the entire experience—not just the moments that look impressive on a wedding blog.
The experience
Before your wedding
We'll talk about your plans, what matters most to you, and how you want your day to feel.
You'll receive a questionnaire to help me understand the details of your wedding, and we'll use that information to make sure your photography fits naturally into the day.
On your wedding day
I'll arrive prepared and ready to observe what's happening around me.
I'll step in when direction is needed and disappear when it isn't.
You won't have to spend the day managing your photographer. I'll work alongside your timeline and vendors while staying focused on the moments that matter.
After your wedding
You'll receive a small collection of sneak peeks within 24 hours so you can relive a few of the moments almost immediately.
Your full gallery will follow within 4–6 weeks, carefully edited and delivered through an online gallery you can easily share with the people you love.
Your photographs are also backed up throughout the process so your memories are protected long after the wedding day.
