I'm offering a complimentary engagement session to a limited number of couples planning their weddings. We'll spend some time together, make some photographs, and you'll get to see firsthand what it's like to work with me.

My approach to photography is rooted in observation rather than direction.
I'm drawn to the moments that happen naturally: the way you interact, the expressions you don't realize you're making, the small gestures and fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
I won't ask you to perform for the camera or spend the entire session directing your every move. Instead, I'll give you room to be yourselves while I pay attention to what's happening around you. Of course, I’ll step in and give guidance if you feel stuck, but the session will be very laid back.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels personal, unforced, and distinctly yours.

You'll receive a curated gallery of edited photographs from our session. You'll have the opportunity to experience the quality, perspective, and care I bring to my work.
04. Decide if we're a good fit.
If you love the photographs and enjoyed working together, you'll have the option to discuss wedding photography coverage with me. There's absolutely no obligation.

I'm Brandon, a documentary wedding photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I've spent over a decade photographing people, celebrations, and the moments that make them meaningful. My approach is influenced by documentary photography and photojournalism, with an emphasis on observation, composition, timing, and genuine human connection.
I believe the best photographs often happen when people are simply present with one another.
My job is to notice those moments and preserve them.
