Brendan & Julie’s Wedding Reception at Lake Point Hall
There’s something special about a wedding reception. The formalities of the day give way to conversation, laughter, and time spent with the people who matter most.
Brendan and Julie celebrated their wedding reception at Lake Point Hall at Francis Beatty Park in Matthews, North Carolina. I joined them for three hours of reception coverage, documenting the gathering as friends and family came together to celebrate.
Rather than focusing on a series of planned moments, I approached the evening as it unfolded. The conversations between guests, the expressions across the room, and the small interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed all became part of the story.
These are often the photographs that mean the most over time. Beyond the major milestones, they preserve the people who were there and the feeling of being together.
Lake Point Hall, surrounded by the natural setting of Francis Beatty Park, provided a relaxed setting for Brendan and Julie’s celebration. It was an evening centered on what a wedding is ultimately about: bringing people together.
